(courtesy of Showtime) Imagine living in a city deeply divided by the aftermath of an economic recession allowing corruption, racial tensions, and police brutality to slowly take over as well as the rise of fascist ideas driven by Nazi Germany and the resurrection of radical evangelism reaching a bigger audience via radio broadcasting. Given the current situation around the world, it should not be that surprising, history is always bound to repeat itself as they say so, is it not really surprising that our current television market is making a show that reflects these issues and conflicts while simultaneously diving into mankind’s weaknesses and faults.
